The University of Giessen provides its members with a large amount of electronic media subject to licence. These media are generally available campus-wide. They can be used from all networked PC workstations within the university as well as from PC workstations at home via EZ-Proxy. Library users who are not members of the university can only use the media subject to licence in the rooms of the library system.
Copyright applies to all publications, regardless of whether they are offered in print or electronically and whether they are subject to a licence or freely accessible web resources. Please note the Copyright Notice!
General rules for the use of our e-media:
- The content may be printed or saved for personal use and for research purposes only.
- Systematic downloading of articles or search results, in particular by robots, is prohibited.
- Content must not be passed on to third parties, neither electronically nor in printed form.
- In case of verifiable misuse users can be excluded from further access.
