12/02/2024 | Museum 3D - Launch desktop version of the virtual museum
|
The desktop version of the virtual museum, one of the results of the cooperation project "Museum 3D - A virtual exhibition space as a DigiLab for museums and teaching" between the JLU Classical Archaeology Department and the Lab for Innovative Teaching, has been officially launched. After intensive incorporation of the feedback after the presentation of the beta version of the virtual museum, we are very pleased that the result has been published. As in the beta version, the current version of the virtual museum is accessible via a laptop or PC. The virtual museum is divided into three rooms. In the Roman house, an ancient temple and a burial chamber plundered by grave robbers, objects from the JLU Collection of Classical Antiquities are waiting to be discovered and examined as 3D models. You can download the project from our media library. Further information on the project can be found on the project page of HessenHub, Classical Archaeology, issue 36 (2023) no. 3 of uniforum on page 10, in the news articles of NIDIT and on our social media channels (X, Instagram). |
