NIDIT | Tutors´ qualification for international tutors and students – Qualification courses in November

The courses and workshops in English language of the tutors’ qualification are aimed at all students and tutors who are already lecturing or are going to lecture tutorial courses in the next semester, and from whom is expected to teach different courses (i.e., complementary teaching sessions, preparatory and/or exercise courses, laboratory internships, etc.) in an autonomous way. The main objective of our qualification programme is helping international students and tutors with their integration on their role as a young lecturer, supporting them in their (first) teaching experience and developing their didactical, communicational and intercultural skills.       

The participation in all our courses is free of charge for enrolled students at the JLU. Besides attending the full programme, there is also the possibility of choosing single modules of our qualification programme, as well as the chance to have individual counselling focused on the specific teaching contents of each tutor. By taking part in the tutors’ qualification programme, students can obtain a credit point in extracurricular skills.

Our qualification programme includes various training courses and workshops. Besides the “Introductory Training Course“, the “Praxis coaching“ session and the workshop “Presenting and explaining in (online) tutorial courses“, which already took place in October 2022, we are going to offer the following courses in November:
