Key management
JLU Key Management is responsible for ordering, issuing and exchanging mechanical keys for JLU buildings and rooms. It sets up locking authorisations on JLU-Chipcards and issues non-personalised JLU chip cards.
General information
- People with a JLU personnel number who joined JLU on or after September 15, 2024 will automatically receive an HRZ account and a personalized JLU chip card (staff ID card or personalized JLU chip card) without having to apply separately. All information about the JLU chip card can be found here.
- JLU-Chipcards will only be issued by the key administration to the following groups of people: Scholarship holders in Faculties 01-10 and in the research centers, doctoral candidates (not enrolled and without an employment contract), habilitation candidates and external companies.
- The issuing points for JLU-chipcarda can be found here.
- Access to events: Please contact us approx. 14 days before the start of the event to obtain a JLU-chipcard or key, otherwise you will not be granted access to the building/room.

Issues outside opening hours are not possible.

Please scan the completed and signed application form and send it to the key management e-mail address: Schliessberechtigung-E3. The applicant will be notified by e-mail as soon as the key is ready for collection.
