Since April 2020 Dr. Nadia Keudel is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Agricultural Policy and Market Research at Justus Liebig University Giessen. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics, which dealt with "Implications of a more restricted European Plant Protection Policy on European Agriculture". In October 2020 she has taken on the role of the scientific corrdinator of the "International PhD Program for Agricultural Economics, Bioeconomy and Rural Development" (IPPAE) at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen. Prior to her work at the University of Giessen she has been working for five years as a project manager for German International Cooperation (GIZ) with a focus on Regional and Rural Development in Countries of South East Europe.
Her major points of interests are development measures and strategies for Regional and Rural Development as well as Food Security in developing and transition countries. Other research interests include regulations of phytosanitary policies on agriculture and the methodology of Choice Modelling.
