"Study Buddies" are German students who are familiar with Giessen and the university's structures and will give international incoming students to the Department of English a helping hand during their first semester.
The Study Buddy Programme was launched by our office in 2008.
Participating in the Study Buddy Programme means mutual benefit:
- Our international incomings will be able to cut red tape and get valuable advice on everyday life in Giessen.
- Home students will come into contact with our internationals and get first-hand information on our partner universities.
- And of course, the programme helps to foster friendship and mutual understanding and aims to broaden the cultural horizon of all participants
