As of 2006, the GGK also houses the GCSC, which offers a distinguished PhD programme at the heart of a strong international network funded through the German “Excellence Initiative”.

The GGL is the Graduate Centre for doctoral students in biology, chemistry, medicine, veterinary medicine, psychology, agriculture, nutrition-, environmental- and sport sciences.
