This year's prize goes to Robert Wolff for his outstanding research thesis on the Geodetic Collection of the University of Giessen, which he published along with other things in the essay Spurenlese: Ein Vermessungsinstrument aus den ‚Geodätischen Kabinett‘ der Universität Gießen (https://www.giessener-hochschulgesellschaft.de/resources/GU/GU-54-2021.pdf). Robert Wolff studies history and journalism at JLU. His work on the Geodetic Collection is the result of the course Collection and Object Research: Scientific Work with Specimens under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cornelia Weber and Dr. Alissa Theiss in the winter semester of 2019/2020.
