The German Language Examination for Student Applicants (DSH) is a university language test that checks whether applicants have the necessary German language skills to study at a German-speaking university.
JLU offers the DSH twice a year (before the summer and winter semester). The examination fee is 140€ (this includes a one-week examination training).

The next DSH exam is expected to take place September 6, 2024.

The examinations are subject to a fee. A fee of 140 euros is payable for the first examination. This applies accordingly to the re-examination. The fee must be paid at the latest ten days before the written examination (date according to the admission notice).
Withdrawal

The examination fee can be refunded upon request - minus an administrative fee of € 10 - if you cannot take part in the examination and if you are not responsible for the reasons for this. Proof of payment must be submitted together with the refund application and the reasons must be explained.
