Terms of privacy
By submitting your application, you allow us to use and store your data in the course of the application and selection process.
JLU processes your personal data for the purpose of the application and recruitment process. The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 (1) a) and Art. 9 (2) a) and Art. 6 (1) b) and Art. 9 (2) b) of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data may be processed to those employees of JLU or other public administration bodies involved in the application and recruitment process.
Your data will be stored for as long as this is necessary for the application and recruitment process.
If your personal data is processed, you have the right to request information on your personal data and you have the right to rectification of incorrect personal data and you have the right to obtain the restriction of processing (Art. 15, 16 and 18 GDPR).
On condition that the legal requirements are met, you have the right to withdraw your consent and demand deletion of the data (Art. 17 GDPR), which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Art. 7 (3) and Art. 17 GDPR).
Furthermore you have the right to lodge an objection at any time against the processing (Art. 21 (1) GDPR) on grounds relating to your particular situation.
If you consider the data processing to be unlawful, you can lodge a complaint to the Hessian data protection officer (HBDI) (Art. 77 GDPR, Section 55 of the Hessian Data Protection and Freedom of Information Act/ HDSIG).
Furthermore, you can request to have your data transmitted in portable form or to have it transmitted to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR).
