Two New Entries in the VR Use Case Catalog: Expanding Innovations from Berlin and Neubrandenburg

The VR Use Case Catalogue from the Labs for Innovative Teaching are pleased to announce two new additions that highlight the transformative potential of Virtual Reality (VR) in higher education. The projects MINT-VR-Labs from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and VR-superTIP from the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences present innovative approaches to preparing students for the future.

The MINT-VR-Labs project aims to develop VR learning environments for MINT subjects by 2025. These digital spaces will complement traditional teaching, ensure high didactic quality and accommodate different levels of student knowledge. The aim is to prepare students for the networked working environments of tomorrow.

VR-superTIP focuses on the digital reconstruction and reflection of key professional situations in fields such as social pedagogy, healthcare and vocational education. Through VR simulations, students will be able to engage with real-world challenges in their respective fields, enhancing their practical training.

Both projects demonstrate the importance of VR in higher education and offer a wide range of new opportunities for knowledge transfer, forming the 74th and 75th new entries in the VR Use Case Catalogue.
