On May 4th, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Inês Gamelas, NIDIT team member and lecturer of the Tutors´ Qualification at the JLU, is going to host “Live Session 2 – Practical Coaching”. This course will be held in English and is directed at international tutors or students who wish to lecture tutorial courses in the near future. Its main purpose is to prepare participants for common challenges and questions that usually arise during tutorial courses. Students can present their concerns, discuss certain aspects of their teaching experiences and give and take advice from each other in situations, in which they still do not feel sure of. The “Live Session 2 – Practical Coaching” is the second module of the tutors´ qualification programme. Our programme seeks to help international students with their integration on their role as young lecturers, supporting them in their (first) teaching experience as tutors and developing their didactical, communicational and intercultural skills.
