08/11/2023 | Teaching Futures - The Future of Teaching 2023
On the 15th and 16th of November, we, the Network for Impactful Digital International Teaching Skills (NIDIT), the joint project of the Justus Liebig University Giessen, the Technical University Central Hesse and the leading Philipps University Marburg, invite you to the "Teaching Days 2023". This two-day joint event offers a varied, bilingual programme for the exchange of innovative university teaching. Look forward to inspiring keynotes from Prof. Dr. Marko Kalz of the Heidelberg University of Education on AI in Higher Education Teaching and Prof. Dr. Kelly Matthews of the University of Queensland in Australia on the role of students in the teaching and learning process. Discussions on forward-looking issues such as didactics, technology, skills and internationalisation provide space for collective reflection. Of particular note is a hybrid panel discussion between educators and students from all three universities, providing insights into the future of teaching. There will also be briefings on current issues in higher education didactics, such as AI, virtual reality and future skills. You'll also have the opportunity to ask educators about their experiences. The event offers different formats: Live on-site in Marburg at "Synmikro" as well as online participation - partly in English. More information is available at https://www.uni-marburg.de/en/university/teaching/teaching-futures. Registration is not required. For any queries, please contact hochschuldidaktik@uni-marburg.de. |
