Frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the Flexnow examination management system.
If you wish to withdraw from an examination registration or make use of the 3-day withdraw period if it is no longer possible to cancel your registration in the "Registered examinations" container, please contact the relevant relevant Examinations Office directly.
The Greneral Regulations for Bachelor's and Master's programmes regarding the use of the 3-day withdrawal period for examinations only applies if no deviating regulation has been made in the Specific Regulation of the Bachelor’s or Master's programme. The regulation does not apply to non-modularised and tiered degree programmes.
To obtain a grade printout, a record of your past results or a transcript of records, please contact the examination office responsible for your degree programme / subject.
Students on the following degree programmes can create their own transcript of records (= grade printout and record of your past results) in German online in Flexnow:

The study and examination regulations of the JLU can be found in the Mitteilungen der Universität Gießen (MUG) .
JLU students who no longer remember their password or user ID can contact the University Computer Centre (HRZ) wenden.
In the 'Student's data / exams' or 'Latest results' you will find coloured symbols in front of the examination achievements.
The symbols have the following meaning:

There is also an examination comment under the examination performance. If a grade was awarded, a grade is also given.
For the clinical study section of the Medicine degree programme, the examination administration will be completely converted from meinSTUDIUM to Flexnow.

Under the menu item "Student's data / Exams" you will also find your contact details under general information. The contact details are used at JLU to be able to reach you in examination matters. They should therefore always be up to date.
Is the data still correct? If not, you can submit a request to change your contact details or personal data in the ➜ GUDE portal . After being updated by the Registrar's Office, the data will be transferred to Flexnow the next time the data is synchronised.
