Science Support

The Science Support Office of JLU is the advisory and coordination office of the Staff Division Research and Graduate Studies (StF) and, as a central unit, primarily supports early career researchers in all matters relating to research funding and, in particular, in the acquisition of third-party funding.

We advise doctoral candidates in the late stages of their doctorate, postdocs and tenure-track/W1 professors on the selection of the appropriate funding line, provide administrative support for applications, and network with internal and external advisory services in order to give your application the best possible chance of being funded. We are also happy to support you in the development of a third-party funding strategy, taking into account your individual career plan.
