  • Course schedule

The course schedule of the Central Training Program Hessen ( here » you can find the

course program in German) covers the competence areas of social and methodical skills, guidance and management, internationality, administration management, administration modernization as well as health management. It is aimed primarily at employees and executives working in administrative positions.

All training programs offered by the Central Training Center are meant to support members of the state administration so they can pursue their tasks effectively and efficiently. In addition, the practical and interdepartmental measures serve the purpose of exchanging experiences between various work areas. They support a high quality of administrative action.

  • Target Groups

    The Central Training Program is aimed at executives at all levels who oversee several employees as superiors or lead project groups or teams. Furthermore, the training programs are aimed at junior staff who can be expected to assume leadership positions in the foreseeable future. Some of the training courses are also aimed at employees not currently assuming any management responsibility.

    In cooperation with the Hessian Association of Administrative Schools, the Central Training Program will be offering special seminars and workshops for employees of the state of Hesse who are not assuming management responsibilities in 2019. You will find a summary of these seminars and workshops as well as the complete program in the 2019 annual program brochure.

  • Registration

    In order to register for Central Training programs, you can use the registration forms for each course respectively. Please make sure to submit your registrations in good time so that registrations can be forwarded to the Department of Central Training on time. The Central Training Department does not send out any rejection letters and neither does it automatically inform the JLU. If you have not received an invitation from the Central Training Department until 4 weeks before the seminar is due to start, please assume that your registration could not be considered.

  • Travel Expenses

    In order to ensure that your travel expenses for attending the Central Training program continue to be covered, you must send a confirmation or certificate of attendance to the Department C5 -Human Resource Development located in the HR Department. The Department D - Accounting and Finance will then process your travel expenses.

    Because numerous participants have cancelled courses at short notice or not shown up in the past, participants will be responsible to bear part of the costs incurred due to a cancellation at short notice. The Department of the Interior will inform these participants cancelling at short notice personally (cf. the explanations of the training program).
