Description: | Business and Economics I is designed to provide students with an overview of management science and business studies and the skills to communicate within and about these domains. By the end of the course, students should have basic knowledge of the components of business and understand their purposes and objectives, be familiar with the basic principles of modern management, and have an understanding of the economic environment surrounding business. Emphasis will be placed on reading skills, vocabulary development, and short presentations and essays. Please note that there are two groups for this class. Students only have to attend one! |
