Application for an Erasmus+ Traineeship at JLU

If you are interested in an Erasmus+ internship at a faculty or research centre of JLU Giessen, please contact the respective faculty or professor directly.

Please check whether you meet the following preconditions before you apply:
- A professor/lecturer of JLU is willing to act as your supervisor. It is often a requirement that you are a student from an Erasmus+ partner university of JLU Giessen.
- You get an Erasmus+ Traineeship grant from your home university and you have a signed Learning Agreement for Traineeship

Important information on the Minimum Wage Act:
- All interns whose internship at JLU is to last longer than 3 months and who are doing a voluntary internship fall under the Minimum Wage Act.
-> These interns cannot be accepted.
- It must be proven that internships lasting longer than 3 months are subject to a provision under higher education law as an integral part of the respective examination regulations. To ensure this, interns must have the document "Bescheinigung Pflichtpraktikum" [Word|PDF] signed and submitted to the International Office.
- Accordingly, graduates always fall under the Minimum Wage Act and cannot be accepted as interns.
