In Silico Design and Synthesis of Novel Metal-Free Systems for Bond Activation and Catalysis
Our research is focused on the activation of small-molecules by metal free systems and their application in molecular catalysis. For this purpose, we combine the concept of Frustrated Lewis Pairs with the novel concept of Boron-Ligand Cooperation. A centerpiece of our work are state-of-the-art QM calculations, guiding the synthetic work.
