Short information on Double Degree Programs
In the Master's program you have the opportunity to gain intensive international experience and at the same time to broaden your academic scope by applying for one of our double-degree programs. This gives you the chance to obtain Master's degrees simultaneously at JLU and at a partner university, which ensures you ideal career opportunities in an international environment.
You can choose between Osaka University and Kansai University in Japan as well as the University of Padova in Italy. During the regular two-year Master's course, you will then spend one year at the respective partner university. There you will attend English-language courses and actively research in one or more research groups. The program is designed to avoid prolonging your studies during your stay at the foreign university.
The application for the double degree program is submitted during the current study course, i.e. you can still decide whether the international Master's program is right for you after you have started your studies. An information event is held at the beginning of each winter semester.
