As part of the European Innovation Project (EIP-Agri) "Antago Senecio" researchers from the Landscape Ecology and Landscape Planning Group (JLU) and the Julius Kühn-Institute in Dossenheim are exploring innovative methods to manage the native toxic plant Jacobaea vulgaris (ragwort). Together with farmers from the Westerwald region, they aim to discover novel solutions to preserve the species-rich, extensively managed meadows."
