JLU's President lecture series

The end of the world as we knew it. And: How we will live tomorrow

The President's lecture series in the winter semester 2020/21 deals with the corona pandemic and its consequences and was designed by Prof. Claus Leggewie. This year's series is organized with the support of the panel.

Kick-off: 16th November 2020, 7:15 pm (Monday)

Prof. Dr. Lothar H. Wieler

President of the Robert Koch Institute, Berlin

"Das Robert Koch-Institut: zentraler Akteur in der Bewältigung der SARS-CoV-2-Pandemie"

Although the pandemic has by no means been tamed, it is time to take an initial interim stock: How has the interaction between science and politics worked? How is communication with the population to be assessed? Where does Germany stand in international comparison?

Venue

Livestream from the assembly hall of the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen
