Mark your calendar and get ready for a special evening! Diving into the new academic year, we will bring some celebratory vibes to the GCSC and IPP community: On October 16th we will celebrate our traditional Welcome and Graduation Ceremony in the Giessen city hall. The WeGraCe provides us with a festive occasion to welcome the 2024 cohorts of the GCSC and IPP and to applaud our graduates from the past year.

This year, we are particularly thrilled to announce the first ever tandem commencement speech and are delighted to welcome GCSC alumni Dr. Eugenia van Engelenhoven and Dr. Gerlov van Engelenhoven on stage. The evening will be rounded off by musical backdrop from our own rows.

The event will start at 6 pm with a reception in the foyer of the city hall’s Hermann Levi Saal, Berliner Platz 1. After the official ceremony, everyone is invited to enjoy drinks and snacks together. An invitation with a link for registration has been sent out.
