Let’s get your PhD journey started! You are part of our new GCSC and IPP cohorts this year? Then you have already marked your calendar for this inaugurating week at the centre. During our traditional Induction Week all new doctoral candidates are warmly welcomed at the centre and will have the chance to familiarize with its research infrastructure and community. In a versatile programme, you will learn about collaborative research, resources and support mechanisms, partner institutions and our Research Groups. Moreover, two inspiring talks about organizing your dissertation phase will hopefully equip you well with strategies and the right attitude to delve into your PhD with the right mindset. We are looking forward to welcoming you as new members and part of our research community at the centre. You can especially look forward to our Welcome and Graduation Ceremony, where we will celebrate your start along with the graduation of our alumni – and will have a sort of relay handover of former and new members.
