Preparation Workshop: IPP Workshop Series

Preparatory Workshop: 

The aim of the IPP Workshop Series,  entitled “Literary and Cultural Theory: Key Topics, Methods and Concepts,” is twofold: Firstly, to give IPP members the opportunity to gain teaching experience. Secondly, to provide a space in which members are able to deal with the current concepts and methods of literary and cultural theory that are crucial to their research. They teach fellow doctoral/postgraduate students as well as undergraduate students at different levels of their studies. The topics focus on general introductions to different “schools” of literary and cultural theory or basic concepts and methods of literary and cultural theory. In preparation for the workshops, the IPP will conduct a “meta-workshop” at the start of the semester to discuss formal issues and teaching methods.
