What are your experiences in teaching? What do you teach how, why and with which results? Which goals and issues of your subject area are important to you personally? Answers to questions like these are supposed to be found in your Teaching Portfolio. With this tool, you can document your teaching experience and professional competence in job applications and interviews. In English speaking countries, the Teaching Portfolio is already well established, but also in Germany, it becomes more and more regular to be asked for prove of pedagogic qualifications. We will not only talk about the structure of a Teaching Portfolio, but will also discuss its usefulness as a means for self-evaluation.
