FAQ

Where can I find information about the work placement?

You can find all information about the work placement and the necessary forms in our ILIAS course. You can access ILIAS via the module in Stud.IP.

How do I gain access to the Stud.IP module?

You register for the module and are provisionally registered. After we have checked that you are a student at Faculty 09, you will be admitted to the module by an administrator as soon as possible. From this point on, you will have access to ILIAS with all the relevant information about the work placement.

When should I register for the module in Stud.IP?

We recommend that you register in Stud.IP as soon as you are interested in a work placement and would like to find out more about the module. In addition to organisational information about the work placement module, we have put together lots of tips for you and provide you with databases of possible work placement companies and other contact points.

Am I obliged to take the work placement module if I register in Stud.IP?

No, the entry in Stud.IP is not binding for you. You can log in and out of the module at any time. The module and the ILIAS course are primarily intended to provide information and inspiration for your work placement planning.

When should I do a work placement?

It is up to you when to complete a work placement during your degree programme and depends on your individual course planning. The work placement module (BP-144 / MP-196) is not tied to a specific semester. If you need support with this, please get in touch and we will be happy to put you in contact with the right person.
