Nutritional Psychology
We are doing research on questions like: Why do we eat what we eat? Which psychological factors determine our food intake? And how can we define a “healthy” eating behavior from a psychological perspective? Please see “Research” for more information. Our research focus is on obesity, psychological determinants of a healthy diet, family & eating, sustainable nutrition and psychodynamic aspects of eating and weight. Since summer term 2023, we offer the profile module “Nutritional Psychology” (BP-185). Since winter term 2023/2024, we offer the profile modules “Eating and weight disorders” (MP-249) as well as "Feminist perspectives on body image and weight" (MP-251). Please see “Lectures/Thesis” for more information. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions! The nutritional psychology team |
