Innovative teaching/learning arrangements for imparting competences (design and evaluation)
Development and implementation of a blended learning program on environmental accounting and resource efficiency aimed at companies, authorities and consulting firms from Southeast Asia, development of online seminars (Global Campus 21 by InWEnt) lasting several days and weeks, with a total of over 1,400 participants (2004-2008).
The "Environmental Management Accounting - South-East Asia" project, on which the blended learning program was based, was recognized by the German UNESCO as an "Education for Sustainable Development" project.
Development and testing of open educational resources (animated videos, podcasts) for a blended learning concept in teaching (2020-21), investigation of learning processes and effects from the perspective of experiential learning (two articles in review).
Development of several case studies on sustainable operations management, including 1st place2015 CSEAR Teaching Case Competition (case study on sustainability methods of operations management) and invitation to the 2020 showcase presentation at IFAMA (case study on material and energy flow accounting methods)
Development and implementation of an online teaching project on economy for the common good oriented management in the agricultural and food industry as well as in associations and educational institutions with a focus on nutrition, student reflection blog.
Conception and evaluation of the first service Learning seminar on the economy for the common good (ECG) in the Hessian agricultural and food industry, balancing of 7 companies along the food value chain (market garden, farms, processing, trade, out-of-home catering).
Participation as one of 21 lecturers in Germany in the 2020 specialist program "LEHREN - The Alliance for University Teaching" with a focus on "Teaching and learning sustainability and social transformation" of the Toepfer Foundation for the further development of the above-mentioned ECG teaching project.
