David Singaña Tapia joined the IPPAE (International Ph.D. Program for Agriculture Economics, Bioeconomy, and Sustainable Food Systems) of JLU in October 2023. He holds an MSc. in Rural Territorial Development from FLACSO Ecuador (2022), an Engineering in Economic Sciences from National Polytechnic School, Ecuador (2018) and a Bachelor in Economy and Management from Université Jean Monnet, France (2019). Prior to joining JLU, he worked as a researcher at Instituto de Estudios de Ecuatorianos since 2019, where he was involved in action participation projects related with family farming and agroecology. His PhD research focuses on the perspectives around Food Sovereignty in Ecuador.
