Abstract:
First part of this seminar will focus on the significance of fluorine containing compounds and on the application of (trifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane - one of the most useful reagents for the introduction of CF3 groups. The second part focuses on methods for synthesizing alpha/beta-(trifluoromethyl)-beta-amino alcohols and alpha iminoketones.
