Research
One of my main interests is studying the biological bases of individual differences with a spezial emphasis on cognition, motivation, and emotion. Moreover, stress research and research concerning nature and nurture are important.
All these areas are investigated with a broad spectrum
of scientific methods in own laboratories (EEG, biochemistry, molecular
genetics) not only allowing to answer hot research questions but also providing
specific knowledge to our students and, moreover, facilitating fruitful
cooperation with partners in- and outside Germany.
