Dr. Jocelyne Kenne Kenne - Research Associate

 

Dr. Kenne earned her PhD in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS), University of Bayreuth, Germany. Prior to that, she completed both her MA and BA in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication at the University of Siena, Italy. She is also passionate about project management and has pursued further training in this area. Following her PhD, she held teaching positions at various academic institutions, including the University of Potsdam and Fachhochschule Dortmund.

 

Research Interests

Her research interests encompass a range of interdisciplinary topics, including:

  • Intercultural communication
  • Language contact and multilingualism
  • The Chinese diaspora
  • Sociolinguistic interactions in multicultural contexts
  • China-Africa relations
  • Migration and acculturation
