Prof. Dr. Pfeiffer as Keynote Speaker at EURAM 2022
Prof. Pfeiffer was invited as keynote speaker on the topic "The Future of AI-Based Consumer Assistance Systems" and had the opportunity to speak to an international audience of experts. She outlined a possible future of e-commerce in virtual reality and its advantages and disadvantages, also with regard to the use of artificial intelligence. She also presented her own research on this topic. If the metaverse is the future of the Internet, she believes that shopping in virtual reality will also be of great importance and should be made an object of research by science in good time.
Afterwards, the panel discussion addressed the topic "Blessing or Curse? Artificial Intelligence in Business" with experts from science and business, such as Prof. Nassim Nicholas Taleb (NYU), Dr. Sebastian Wedeniwski (Standard Chartered Bank) and Eduvigis Ortiz Moronta (SAS Institute/ Women4Cyber) was deepened.
This year, the EURAM (European Acadamy of Management) conference was held in Wintherthur/Zurich, Switzerland, from June 15-17, with approximately 1400 participants under the theme "Leading Digital Transformation."
