Research Assistant in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience (m/f/d)

The working time is at least 20-40 hours per month.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Assistant to join us. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding with Python, experience in deep learning, and a keen interest in using machine learning to study visual perception. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-evolving field and contribute to groundbreaking research.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and implementation of machine learning models for studying visual perception.

Qualications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cognitive Science, Data Science, Math, Computer Science, or a related field. Familiarity with programming in Python preferably for deep learning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualications:

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., NumPy, Matplotlib). Familiarity with neuroimaging data and techniques (e.g., fMRI). Knowledge of visual perception theories and cognitive neuroscience principles.
