Schon mal 1.000 Meter unter der Erde gestanden, in einem dunklen Stollen mit einer Hacke in der Hand? Im VR Bergwerk fährst du im Förderkorb tief hinunter, du spürst das Rütteln und die Enge - und du packst mit an. Du arbeitest wie ein Kumpel vor hundert Jahren und hackst die Kohle aus dem Flöz. Das VR Bergwerk ist ein Projekt des Westdeutschen Rundfunks zum Ende des Steinkohlebergbaus in Deutschland.

About this Application

Have you ever stood 1,000 metres underground in a dark tunnel with a pick in your hand? In VR Mine you go down deep into the pit cage, you feel the shaking and the confinement - and you lend a hand. You work like a miner of a hundred years ago, hacking the coal out of the seam. VR Mine is a project of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk to mark the end of coal mining in Germany.
