Description

International teaching is not just about transmitting knowledge; it’s about fostering global citizens who appreciate diversity, engage in respectful dialogue, and contribute positively to our interconnected world. NIDIT lecturers of the International Teaching Team: Anna Jäger and Richard Vargas invite you to join our upcoming Workshop: “Introducing Intercultural Competencies in Digital, International Teaching” scheduled for July 3rd, from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

This workshop aims to cultivate a deeper understanding of our intercultural reality and address intercultural disparities in a constructive manner. Participants will actively engage in discussions covering a diverse range of topics, including the multifaceted dimensions of culture within university settings, strategies for enhancing intercultural awareness to improve teaching effectiveness, the enrichment of learning experiences through embracing diverse perspectives, personal biases and power dynamics within educational contexts.

Through active participation in this exchange, attendees will not only acquire valuable insights but also establish meaningful connections with fellow professionals who share an interest in the internationalization of education. We extend a warm invitation to all individuals passionate about enriching the international teaching landscape to join us in this rewarding experience.
