Description

Considering the importance of internationalization of higher education and collaboration among teaching stakeholders, NIDIT lecturers of the International Teaching Team: Anna Jäger and Richard Vargas invite you to join our upcoming online exchange: “Building Communities on Internationalization” scheduled for May 29nd, from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

This online exchange aims to serve as a platform for stakeholders such as lecturers, teachers, managers, and students to exchange insights and best practices pertaining to international teaching. Participants will engage in discussions on a diverse array of topics that include innovative teaching methodologies, the integration of emerging technologies in international teaching, strategies for motivating and engaging international students and educators, the development of intercultural competence, curriculum design, sustainable teaching, and the exploration of various learning and teaching habits and styles, among other topics of interest.

By participating in this exchange, attendees will not only gain valuable insights but also forge meaningful connections with like-minded professionals interested in international digital teaching. We encourage all interested people who are passionate about enhancing the international teaching landscape to join us in this enriching exchange.

Objectives

  • Provide a platform for sharing diverse perspectives and experiences to enrich understanding and promote best practices within international education settings.
  • Foster cross-cultural understanding and cooperation among educators from diverse backgrounds.
  • Encourage critical examination and analysis of cultural, social, and political factors influencing international education practices.
  • Establish sustainable partnerships and networks between lecturers and teachers as well as teaching stakeholders to facilitate ongoing knowledge exchange and collaboration in international higher education.
  • Explore possibilities for collaborative research initiatives aimed at generating evidence-based insights to inform effective strategies for advancing internationalization efforts in higher education.
