Introduction Agri-Tech Guide

Agri-Tech Guide is a B2B platform for the agriculture sector that essentially brings together (1) innovative/sustainable technology solutions from technology developers/providers such as research groups, startups and established companies, and (2) technology interested users such as farmers, corporate managers, investors, government officials, NGO members and researchers looking for innovative/sustainable solutions.
The opportunity to make an impact is huge as the global agriculture sector emits ~30% of man-made CO2, occupies ~40% of land, consumes ~70% of fresh water, and is supposed to secure the world's food supply.
The current website (www.agritechguide.com) is just an initial landing page and the actual platform is currently in development.

What do you do?

Online research and scouting on innovative and sustainable technologies in the agriculture sector.
Analysis, evaluation & ranking of innovative and sustainable technologies in the agriculture sector.
Completion of data sets for the respective technology profiles.
Communication / exchange with technology providers such as start-ups, research groups, etc. to complete their profile, understand their concerns / issues and help them.
Content database maintenance and management.
Writing articles & reviews on innovative and sustainable technologies in the agriculture sector.
Further development of the company culture and business model.

Who are we looking for?

"Must-haves":

You have a strong interest in innovative and sustainable technologies (software and hardware) in the agriculture sector and enjoy learning.
You have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
You are precise, reliable, structured, analytical, independent, solution-oriented, team-oriented, entrepreneurial, and stress-resistant.
You have very good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and generally MS Office / Google Suite as well as your own laptop to get started right away.

"Can / Preferred":

You are studying a subject in the agriculture sector such as Agricultural Science, Agricultural Technology, Agronomy, Agricultural Management, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, IT, or similar.
You are technically familiar with database management, WordPress / Drupal websites, programming, and the like.
