Dr. Bente Castro Campos is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Agricultural Policy and Market Research at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Since October 2017 she has also been an external habilitation candidate at the Institute of Agricultural Economics at the University of Kiel. Additionally, Dr. Castro gained research experience as post-doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and The Chinese University of Hongkong (CUHK). She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) and conducted her PhD research at the Leibniz-Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO). Her interdisciplinary research spans four focal areas: society & culture, health & food, environment & natural resources, and agricultural markets. |
