This workshop will first give an overview of funding agencies for research projects. Then, after a general introduction into the principles and structure of writing a research proposal, we will look at and discuss “real life” research proposals. We will also focus on evaluation criteria for research proposals. Throughout the course, we will discuss the importance of third party funding for young researchers – and how applying for third party funding can be incorporated into your career plans.
Coaching opportunity
As participant of this seminar, you have the chance to receive individual coaching on your funding application by the trainer (max. 60 min per participant). Those appointments will take place on
Friday, February 7, 2020, 12 noon - 5 pm;
or
Wednesday, February 19, 2020, 2 pm - 6 pm
If these dates do not work for you, you may agree on an individual appointment with the trainer.
