You can register your thesis not earlier than the lecture-free period of your 3rd semester. You need to complete your thesis within 150 days after registration.
The prerequisite for admission to the Master's thesis module (MBB-MA-TM) is the registration for 1 core module, 4 theory modules and 3 application modules.

For your registration, please use the general thesis application form in GERMAN:
Please either submit your thesis application to the Examination Office during office hours (room 110), send it by post, or submit it via your university e-mail account.
The title of your thesis will be entered in FlexNow by the Examination Office, together with the admission date and submission deadline. The deadline in FlexNow is binding.
When writing your thesis, please follow the guidelines in GERMAN. Please submit two physical (bound copies) and three electronical (CD-ROM or USB-stick) of your thesis to the Examination Office, which will be forwarded to your first and second supervisor. The first supervisor will keep the copy, while the second copy will be later returned to the Examination Office for archiving.
It is not allowed to withdraw from the thesis module without sufficient justification!
You can also complete your thesis with a supervisor outside JLU. For this, please direct an informal but written application (no e-mail) to the Dean of Faculty 06 and submit it via the Examination Office (Ms. Robaniuk). Please include the contact details of the external supervisor, as well as a written confirmation of the supervisor that he or she agrees to supervise and assess your thesis according to the formal criteria of the Master's program. Please also state in your application who will be the responsible lecturer at JLU for supervising the thesis.
The authorisation will be initiated by the Examination Office.
