The UGMLC School Profile
The UGMLC School is the umbrella programme for the coordination of education and training of pulmonary scientists at the University of Giessen, the University of Marburg, and the Max Planck Institute of Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim.
The UGMLC School is the umbrella programme for the coordination of education and training of pulmonary scientists at the University of Giessen, the University of Marburg, and the Max Planck Institute of Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim. Participating doctoral students at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen are also enrolled in the International Graduate Programme Molecular Biology and Medicine of the Lung, while participating doctoral students at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim are enrolled in the International Max Planck Research School for Heart and Lung Research. The UGMLC School has no formal structured coursework. All enrolled students and associated faculty members benefit from a series of Scientific Symposia or Career Development Symposia organised within the framework of the UGMLC School.
