“Looking at the Lung” is a scientific symposium held within the framework of the University of Giessen and Marburg Lung Center (UGMLC) School.
It is the educational aim of this symposium to provide a forum for teachung research students with a limited background in lung histopathology, the histopathological presentation of clinically important lung diseases, experimental models of those diseases, as well as issues related to quantifying microscopic anatomical structures of the healthy and diseased lung
This symposium consists of a series of lectures by invited speakers, drawn from all over the world, as well as in-house faculty and students engaged in studies which addresses the central theme of the symposium. The list of external invited speakers for this symposium may be found here.
