Galaxy
Galaxy for Computational Genomics
Our group is also hosting and maintaining a local Galaxy server for Computational Genomics focusing on the development of tools and automated workflows for sequence data analysis. Therefore, we have installed a large number of tools for DNA sequence analysis, genome annotation, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq and related analyses. To support the upload of larger data sets we have implemented a specialised upload client that can be used as an alternative to the native Galaxy upload. All computations that are started via the Galaxy web interface will be distributed to our high-performance computing cluster to speed up analyses.
Access to our Galaxy server requires a personalised account with an individual login and password. Please do not share your account with other users!
If you encounter errors or if you have any other requests concerning our Galaxy server please write an email to mailing list that is directly connected to our ticket system.
We are planning to organise one or two annual training courses for beginners and advanced users. If you are interested in participating in such a course you can sign up by sending an email.
