English Grammar and Writing Advancement

Course description: 
This course is designed to support and advance students’ English skills, and will 
focus on the use of language to effectively accomplish academic tasks. 
Emphasis will be placed on correct and accurate use of a range of grammatical 
forms, particularly those used in the reporting of academic and scientific data and 
results. 
Writing skills will also be regularly covered, and students will be given opportunities to 
improve their abilities in constructing short and longer texts, with emphasis on the 
types of texts they will need to produce during the course of their studies.
