My research is focussed on how we perceive ourselves in our environment, using virtual reality as a method. To answer open questions in this field I combine research on self-body (embodiment) and self-environment (presence) processes. In addition, I investigate spatial reference frames, which also support self-environment interactions in our everyday life.
