On December 2 and 3, 2019, the TANNRE project joined the Annual Conference of the Giessen Graduate Centre for Social Sciences, Economics and Law (GGS) entitled “Beyond Western Liberalism: Mapping Blind Spots in IR Norms Research” at Justus Liebig University.
On March 5 and 6, 2020, the TANNRE project joined the Annual Conference of the DVPW Working Group "Environmental Politics and Global Change" in Darmstadt. The conference aimed to take stock of the SDGs five years after their adoption to provide an impact analysis from the perspective of political sciences.
Joining the fully virtual SDG Research Symposium GlobalGoals2020 hosted by Utrecht University, the TANNRE project presented its paper "Never-Ending Hunger? Norm Conflicts and the Implementation of SDG 2 in the Global Food Regime Complex" on June 11, 2020.
The TANNRE project is happy to announce the publication of the article "Politicized Sustainability and Agricultural Policy: Comparing Norm Understandings of International Organizations" in the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis: Research and Practice.
A new research article entitled "Aligned Sustainability Understandings? Global Inter-Institutional Arrangements and the Implementation of SDG 2" by Helmut Breitmeier, Sandra Schwindenhammer, Andrés Checa, Jacob Manderbach and Magdalena Tanzer was published in the journal "Politics and Governance".
A new article by the TANNRE project entitled "Wissen als Treiber für Wandel. Die Harmonisierung von Nachhaltigkeitsverständnissen in der globalen Ernährungspolitik [Knowledge as Driver for Change. Harmoninzing Understandings of Sustainability in Global Food Governance]" was published.
After more than three years, the TANNRE project ended in 2021. The final report will be publicly accessible on the website of the Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library (TIB).
