On May 23rd, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Inês Gamelas, NIDIT team member and lecturer of the Tutors´ Qualification at the JLU, is going to host the workshop “Presenting and explaining effectively in (online) tutorial courses”. This workshop will be held in English and is directed at international tutors or students who wish to lecture tutorial courses in the near future. In this workshop, we will focus on the basic principles on how to explain effectively and we will provide various practical tips that are helpful for explaining and presenting in online and in face-to-face tutorial courses. In its second part, participants are invited to test their own rhetorical skills (verbal and non-verbal) in a practical exercise. Are you interested in taking part? Our programme seeks to help international students with their integration on their role as young lecturers, supporting them in their (first) teaching experience as tutors and developing their didactical, communicational and intercultural skills.
