Interdisciplinary Lecture Series: "Shaping the Future: Female and Queer Perspectives on Possible Futures"
Kick-off event of the digital interdisciplinary lecture series "Shaping the Future: Female and Queer Perspectives on Possible Futures" on May 26, 2021, 6-7.30 p.m.
The talk is the first of a total of seven presentations in the interdisciplinary event series "Shaping the Future: Female and Queer Perspectives on Possible Futures," which is funded as part of JLU's Ideas Competition for the Advancement of Women. The initiators and organizers, Anna Tabouratzidis M.A. and Jana Christoffel M.A., both from the Institute of English Studies at JLU and members of the GCSC and IPP, want to make queer and female voices heard with the new event format in order to jointly take a look at future scenarios or global coexistence after the Corona crisis. The lectures from political and social sciences, gender studies, literary and cultural studies, as well as applied pedagogy and psychology are intended to provide food for thought and invite people to discuss new concepts of future coexistence together.
The lectures will take place online on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public via Webex Events. To receive the link to the event, please register via the registration form on the Faculty 05 website:
